Help CenterWhen creating roof compartmentation, the geometry is often complicated to copy manually. The recommended workflow would be to copy the roof, rename the type, edit the boundaries, change the material and parametrics.
- Tab and select the roof in the underlying model, copy to clip board and paste to the same place.
- The roof often has several layers, for a specialist it's only necessary to have the total thickness as one layer. Remove all except one, and change the thickness to the total from the original roof.
- Change to the material which should be used:
- Rename the roof type:
- Edit the boundary and enter the value which should be delivered/shown in the drawing.
- Finish the sketch.
- Use Connect Family to connect to the underlying roof.
