The graphical representation for wall requirements is unique to each country, with different colours, line widths, materials, and line-styles.

The different requirements are divided into several subcategories for Fire Protection category, making it easy to modify either in the template or per project.

Follow the steps below on how to change the appearance of the wall requirement family.

  1. Go to the Manage tab, and open Object Styles.
  2. Go down to the category Fire Protection, for each requirement there is a subcategory for each one.

    1. Line weight for projection and cut lines should be the same, and are annotative per scale.
    2. Line colour is the colour of the line, and should be the same as the colour of the material.
    3. Line patterns are the line style.
    4. Material is the colour, and transparency of the object that, in the example above, is transparent blue within the outer dashed blue border.

      Read more about Object Style.
  3. Change to a material that is the same colour as the line colour. Open the Material box and select one of the NV_COmpartment_RGBCode that match the new colour.

If there doesn't exist one with the correct colour, create a new material with a new asset.
    1. How to create a new material, for walls select a material with a name that contains "Compartment", and duplicate that material & asset.
    2. Rename the new material & asset, Naviate Bimfire follows the RGB colour and if possible, adds a description of the colour. The new colour will have the same name as the original material with a (1) as a suffix.
    3. Change the colour under the tab Graphic to the same colour.

Make sure that Shading is ticked "Use Render Appearence".
    4. Rename the asset and change the description as well. Change the colour of the asset.

Finish by pressing ok, a new material with a new asset is now created in the opened project (or template if that is opened).
