To be able to have checks for changes on the horizontal compartmentation, it’s not possible to use model in-place families. Instead use copy/monitor on the floor instances that are placed. It's not possible to use monitor on model in-place. If there are no Floor types in the project, use Transfer Project Standards and select only floor types.
- Go to a floor plan, under Architecture tab, choose Floors.
- Draw using the floor draw tool, select which type for the graphic, and write the FireReq_FireRatingFloor value.
- This enables quickly creating different requirements to the same slab from a link.
- Use Copy/Monitor feature, and just monitor instead of copying to the slabs.
- Select the floor compartmentation first, then the linked slab.
- This will notify the user when opening the model if somethings change with the slab.
- Use connect family on the compartmentation to be able to send data to the slabs.
