Naviate Bimfire Revit Templates

When starting a project it's necessary to select a Revit template which contains certain elements to make it work, such as wall compartmentations, opening requirements or clash families.

When Naviate Bimfire was branded as BimfireTools, the distribution of regional templates with the correct symbols and language there were several installation packages, which contained different templates within them. Since the tool rebranded to become Naviate Bimfire, all regional templates have been uploaded to a cloud storage so it makes it easier to update the content.

 

  1. Start an empty project

  2. Go the the [N] Bimfire tab, on the far left hand side it's possible to start projects using Symetris own, recommended, templates.


    1. Select Show All to show all Naviate Bimfire's regional templates.
    2. Choose a location on the server where the project will be automatically saved when starting the project.
  3. Start designing the new project.

 

Note:

  1. It's possible to enable this dialogue whenever New Model is pressed on the home page of Revit.
