Here videos and workflows will be published on how to use the specialist's models and information in the day-to-day work, making the most of the data.
Only show wall compartments from link
When linking a fire safety model, every requirement is shown on the floor plan which is not always desired. There are two ways of handling this, one would be to ask the specialist to place all components, except wall requirements, in a secondary design option. All connections are kept. Another way is to use view filters to hide all except Wall Requirements.
Check for changed requirement status
Before importing new specialist information, use a third party application such as Naviate Accelerate to move all existing requirements to a secondary parameter.
Then import the new information and easily compare the values for new or changed requirements.
Dense Compartments
When importing information from a specialist model, check to see if any openings have been missed by the specialist. This can easily been done by using third party application such as Naviate Accelerate.
