Machine fingerprint has changed since activation

Problem

If you have upgraded or modified your PC hardware, you may receive the following error message when you start Revit - Machine fingerprint has changed since activation

Solution

If you are assigned a multi user license, you can log out of Naviate and then restart Revit and log in again.
