We have seen that some users who have updated to the latest version of Naviate (2023.1.17, 2024.8.2) are receiving an error message saying "Naviate licensing client could not establish connection with licensing server."
You will get this error message:
Solution: Make sure that Naviate.Revit.Components.Licensing.Server.exe can run on your machine and is not blocked by an Antivirus program such as Webroot.
Alternative solution: If you have installed Naviate 2026.0, you can copy Naviate.Revit.Components.Licensing.Server.exe from
C:\Program Files\Symetri\Naviate\Revit 2026\Core
to
C:\Program Files\Symetri\Naviate\Revit 2024\Dll
C:\Program Files\Symetri\Naviate\Revit 2023\Dll
Note: this issue will be fixed in the coming release of Naviate in 2023 and 2024
