Issue
When rebars in a partition have been numbered and the partition is marked as issued (locked), modifying an existing rebar group and running rebar numbering again can assign a position number that is already in use, instead of generating a new one.
Workaround
Duplicate numbers can be resolved by following the steps below. Keep the New Rebar Numbering dialog open until step 4.
- Assign the correct number manually. Select the revised rebar and enter the next available position number in the partition. Save numbers.
- Analyse, unlock and lock. Run Analyse, then unlock the partition and lock it again so the numbers are registered.
- Make one change, analyse and renumber. With the dialog still open, make one change to the model, run Analyse again, and then run Renumber. The numbers should now be correct.
- Close the dialog. Close New Rebar Numbering to complete the process.
- Repeat for each partition. Repeat the process once for each affected partition.
Fix
This issue is fixed in version 26.5.1. However, projects created in older versions may still show duplicate numbers. If this happens in version 26.5.1, correct the numbers manually, run Analyse, and then unlock and lock the partition again. After that, numbering should work as expected.
We strongly recommend upgrading to 26.5.1 version. If upgrading is not possible right away, use the workaround above.
